The accelerated computerized curriculum of VCS engages students in areas of math, science, social science, language, public speaking, foreign language, computer science, creative writing, and the arts. The curriculum has been designed to meet admissions and high school scholarship requirements for leading colleges and universities.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
To graduate VCS requires a minimum 26 credits for 2010-2011 school year. These credits must include the following:

Must have completed above credit units, ACT, and 10 community service hours for each year 9-12th grade no later than May 1st in order to participate in graduation. All fees must be paid in order to participate in graduation.
The above requirements may be altered or adapted to provide the best program of studies possible for a student who enrolls in VCS. Seniors who fail to complete graduation requirements will not be permitted to participate in the graduation ceremony.

We are dedicated to teaching and allowing a child to learn as much as possible. Our classroom environment is open and friendly, which allows for individual personal attention and encourages students to question, investigate, and contribute.
Additional Courses Offered:
We have some college courses which can be taken in high school at additional costs. The cost of these courses are not included in regular tuition. These courses are available from local colleges and universities. Students can earn up to 24 college credits over two years. We are excited to be able to provide access to our students. Students must meet all requirements and pay additional costs to be enrolled. We also participate in Hinds Community College Dual Enrollment program.

**VCS only passes student with a C or better grade.**
